After the events that surrounded the murder of Miss Nancy Walker and her subsequent ordeal with Doctor Franklin,Carol Anne Smith and her family move out of the New York City area and move down the turnpike to Philadelphia and at first, the Smiths think that they have moved on with their lives.Then,Carol Anne's parents;Sarah and Bill grow concerned about Carol Anne's psychological well-being and send her to see Doctor Thomas Peterman,but one day,while waiting to see Doctor Peterman,Carol Anne stumbles upon a plot to give a preteen patient a lethal dose of electro-shock therapy and now Carol Anne has to,once again,due battle with a psychiatrist who might want to silence her once and for all.
