Chapter 24: Easter Sunday, Emily,the kids and I go out to church and then we're all on our own with boys going off; Billy with his girlfriend, Andrew with his own circle of friends and Carol Anne helps Emily with chores/errands. Billy eventually brings Olivia over for dinner.
Chapter 25: Olivia hangs with Andrew alone and then with Andrew and Carol Anne; the latter to explicitly watch the kids interact and get their individual takes on what they think about her.
Chapter 26: Mother's Day; the kids give Emily some gifts and help do some chores around the house; I then take the kids out with me so that Emily could have some alone time to herself.
Chapter 27: Andrew gets or meets a new girlfriend and Carol Anne ends up getting revenge for all the times he used to tease her about the boys in her class sending her love notes and texts.
Chapter 28: Now even Carol Anne has a boy who wants to "date" her and though she's apprehensive at first, she "takes the plunge"
Chapter 29: Me and Emily invite Olivia and her family (including siblings Simon and Teresa), to a barbecue/cookout for Memorial Day so that both families can better get to know each other.
Chapter 30: It's June now and that means the kids are studying for final exams and then get their final report cards.
Chapter 31: Now it's Father's Day and its my turn to get presents but like on Mother's Day, I take the kids out with me to spend some quality time with my three towheaded,peanut-angels.
Chapter 32: It's the Fourth of July and that means another barbecue/cookout and of course swimming and fireworks at the end.
Epilogue: It's Carol Anne's 10th birthday and that means having Carol Anne open presents,blow out candles on her cake and Olivia takes Carol Anne out to do something special with her either on her 10th birthday itself or the Saturday before or afterwards.
